Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier.  We accept credit card payments which is safe and secure.  If you are ordering from another country, other than the UK, place your order and the credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

You may make a purchase by post by sending your order to us [address on contact page] with a sterling cheque for the order amount plus postage, or order by email to thewitchescottage@googlemail.com , or by phone, during office hours and then send a cheque to us. Please allow at least 4 working days for a cheque to clear.

We do not operate credit accounts - All orders are made on a firm order basis and must be prepaid

Using Spells

Remeber that the key to your destiny resides within your own heart and that we cannot be responsible for the outcome of these spells as words only become magic when spoken truly from the heart.

Shipping and Handling

All orders leave us safely packaged.  Items delivered in the UK mainland addresses are sent by Royal Mail / Courier according to weight. The maximum we will charge for postage is £10.00.    If you wish to send items further afield please contact us for shipping costs.

It is rare in our experience for parcels to be intercepted by Customs. If this happens, however, you may have to pay local import duties.

Certain countries also have restrictions against the inport of seeds and plant based produce [this includes some of our Botanicals range]. Please check if any of these limitations are likely to apply before ordering to avoid any disappointment.

Delivery Schedule    

Orders placed on a weekday will be posted the following day.  Orders placed at weekends will be posted on the following Monday.  Parcels should reach you within a couple of days but please allow up to five days for delivery.  If there is any delay we will contact you to notify you of the delay.

Deliveries to the Highland, Northern Ireland and other UK islands may also take an additional day.

Tax Charges                   

All prices are inclusive of VAT [where applicable] . There are no hidden tax charges - what we bill you is what you pay.

Guarantee

Our business is based on good quality and fair prices.  If your item is in any way faulty, we will either refund the value of the item or replace it free of charge if you contact us to arrange return of the original item within five days of receipt.  Simply contact us for written authorisation to return. Items returned without written authorisation items will not be replaced or refunded.  This is in addition to your statutory rights.

Due to the properties of a few of the herbs and essential oils contained within a small selection of our product range, we strongly urge you not to use if pregnant or suspect you may be.  You must take all due care with the flames that you create and never leave burning candles, spell papers, charcoal discs or incense unattended.  Keep out of reach of children and pets - these are not toys and should not be given to children*.  Stop use immediately if an allergic reaction occurs to any ingredient.

*Children may use the products with adult supervision at your own discretion.  The childrens dream pillow is suitable to leave with a child in bed - however we recommend that it is put inside the pillowcase and not left for the child to accidently tear apart.
